A moment to explore running as it already is, its effort, rhythm, and endurance gathered in one place.
CONCEPT
The installation takes the form of an audio-visual pillar of screens, a collage of the running experience styled as a performance telemetry interface. Data and sensation stream together: pulse, terrain, the technology underfoot, tracing what it feels like to endure.
Prototype - The elements of endurance
Across a multi-HUD display, x-ray scans of the shoe reveal its structure layer by layer, alongside live readouts, quality metrics, and topographic trail maps creating AV performance metrics.
The soundscape is built from ambient tech screens: oscillating, rhythmic tones that carry the energy of the display, panning in and out as attention moves between HUD elements.
